2250 IB Biology Anki Flashcards

Here you can find all 2250 IB Biology Higher Level and Standard Level Anki flashcards that I created myself over the 2 years of the International Baccalaureate Programme. I spent many hundreds of hours creating these flashcards, and it took me a very long time just to simply learn how to create useful Anki Flashcards, and it took me even longer to realise how I should integrate these Anki flashcards into my studying routine, however, at the end of DP year 1, and after wasting much time, I figured out the perfect way to use Anki cards to secure a 7/7 in IB Biology HL. I would like to share these cards and my method of achieving a 7 with you.

My anki flashcards were created with information from these sources: Bioknowledgy, Bioninja, Alex Lee’s videos (the goat), the IB Biology study guide, and Past Paper Markschemes. I then went the extra mile of ensuring that I had answered every single dotpoint from the Biology Syllabus guide. I’m not even joking, I meticulously went through the syllabus guide and ensured that each and every dopoint was answered with a sufficient amount of information; the Anki notes were scaffolded on ALL the Understanding, Application and Skills, Guidance, Nature of Science, and TOK dotpoints.

My Anki notes provide an understanding prior to memorization of the content, which I believe is now crucial in IB Biology, as the examinations are now becoming more based on an understanding of IB Biology, rather than one’s ability to rotely memorize various facts and figures (which used to be the case in the past). This is why I wholeheartedly believe my Anki flashcards can benefit all students in IB Biology. It would be a waste of time for you to try and create Anki flashcards when a deck like this already exists on the internet - I also believe that my deck is the largest IB Biology Anki deck on the internet as of right now.

Below you can find all my cards, separated into decks which you can buy based off subtopic, topic, or entire subject. I’ve also created a smaller free trial deck with ~150 cards, which you may use to determine if these cards are suitable for your needs, and whether you would like to purchase more cards.
